I'M GOING PRIVATE

I have no idea how, but I think it's time to set my blog up as private. I don't want to lose any of my friends, so leave me a comment with your e-mail address So I can add you. If you don't want to leave your e-mail address on my blog you can e-mail it to me at fivereids@gmail.com. I'll probably do it some time in January.

Merry Christmas

I had every intention of sending Christmas cards out this year. I even bought the cards. But I've been working on a few Christmas projects and time has just gotten away. So this is my Merry Christmas to you.

Have a wonderful Holiday !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Temple Square

For the past few years we've taken the kids to Temple Square to see the lights, then we sleep over downtown. The kids love it and we love spending that fun time with them. We went to the The Salt Lake City Denny's and lets just say Stomach Ache. NEVER again will we eat there. Then we saw the lights. The next day we took the kids to the Joseph Smith movie at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. I love the movie, and my girls are getting old enough to really understand what happened to Joseph Smith. Ry teared up couple of times. And after the movie they had lots of questions. What a fun tradition.

Averys Pictures

My friend up the street has a great camera and takes such good pictures. So I asked her if she wouldn't mind snapping a few of Avery. Here's a peek.

I think the boys had fun shooting the bull. They don't look like their up to any good.
Mom- in -law, and BFF Sandra and Hubby Carter.

And the beautiful Avery. She looked so darn cute. She wore Bay's blessing dress. A cute bracelet and white booties. How did I get so lucky.

Super proud mommy and Avery.

I love this picture. Doesn't it just make you want to snuggle right into those cheeks?

So Cute!!!

Halloween

This October has been full of fun things to do. Here are a few of the highlights. Avery was a baby this year for Halloween. (I know original hugh?)SO CUTE.

The kids posed before trick-or-treating. I think we only got a handful of kids at our house. The houses are to sparatic still. So I had to take the kids to the next neighborhood. Which was quite a ways down the street. Lucky for the kids and I it started to rain on us. Halloween makes me tired.

Notice how the pumpkin is supposed to look like the hulk. I think the mask is a little scary. Carson LOVED it!! It's just like him to pick something like that out.

Baylee had to pose like a beautiful angel. I'm not really sure what the exact name of her costume was, but she loves the beautiful dress and all the glitter. Super cute.

Rylee wanted to be a scary vampire this year. I think she pulled it off. After the school parade I got home and got a call from the elementary school that Rylee was in the offce crying and wanted to come home. I picked her up and it was quite a site. All her makeup was smeared all over her face, and her hands were blackfrom the makeup and hair spray paint. She said that her throat was hurting, and she didn't feel good. I knew that she really meant it if she was willing to miss her class party. So I took her to the Doctor, and Sure enough she had Strep Throat. I took her in a couple of weeks ago, and I guess it just never went away. Bummer. So instead of going to our friends Halloween party we stayed home. But had fun anyway.

The kids just love carving Halloween Pumpkins. I'm glad that their old enough now to clean them out themselves.

Grandma Janet and Grandpa Frank had a fun Halloween party one Sunday when we were all together. All the grandkids took turns hitting a pinata. They had a fun time.

We took the kids to Gardner village for the Wee Witches. Landon spent the entire time pushing the Stroller. I think he likes it, because then he doesn't have to go into any of the shops.

Four weeks old

So where have I been these last few weeks? NO WHERE thats where. I can't believe that my little Avery will be four weeks old in one day. Where has the time gone. I am finding that I am so sentimental these days knowing that Avery will be our final addition. Landon and I are breaking all the rules of having a new baby. She sleeps with us, and when she's not in our bed she is in her crib in our room. We hold her all the time and are cherishing every little thing. We're so sappy we know. Not a whole lot has been going on lately which is nice. Avery unfortunatley has a cold and is all congested. She probably picked that up from her siblings. Rylee has strep throat, and I wouldn't be surprised if the other kids get it too. Avery is basically Quarantined to my bedroom so that she doesn't get sicker. That's the thing that I hate most about the kids going back to school is that they bring home so many germs and crap. I am overly obsessed about washing hands and Germs, that I'm making myself crazy. Here's a few pics of my sweetie. Sleeping Beauty
My Family with my favorite Grandpa Burr

These I must say are my favorite times. SNUGGLING.

Introducing.....Avery Francis Reid

Yay!!!! She's here. I am in love with my fourth child. I know weird hugh? I have four kids. Well Avery was born on Saturday September 20th at 5:38 in the morning and weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches long. I started having a back ache a week before she was born. I had just finished putibg up my fall stuff and the next day my back started hurting. almost like it was my siatic nerve or something. Well Landon was out of town from Monday till Friday The week before i was to be induced. And on Thursday I talked to him almost in tears because I was hurting so bad. And he told me that he was coming home that night because he didn't feel right about being gone another day. Well we decided to go into the hospital on Friday. So after the kids came home from school we took them to my Mom's house and headed to the Hospital. When I got there they decided that Because I was having contractions Every 2 minutes, had to get an antibiotic for strep B, and that I lived almost an hour away they decided to keep me and get things rolling. Me and Landon were surprised because we didn't think that they would let us stay. So I was up all night, and had her early in the morning. She is BEAUTIFUL. I have forgotten how in love I get with my babies. She is such a sweet baby with a great temperment. It's weird that after 2 years of trying for her and 9 months of pregnancy she is here. I'm doing good too. All the effects of labor are good, but I still have my siatic nerve problem. I thought hat it would go away after I had her but no luck so far. I may have to go see a Chiropractor or someting. Bummer. Well I'll post more pics later.

Baby Shower

I know that this is a late post but I didn't have enough energy to climb the stairs at the end of my pregnancy to the computer, so I'm doing it now. I am so lucky to have the greatest friends. I am so glad that we have been able to keep in touch even though almost all of us have moved away from eachother. My friend Sandra threw me the cutest baby shower for Avery. She thought of every detail. And I got the cutest things for my sweetie. Thanks guys.
