Holiday Festivities

The girls had their Christmas recital. They got to be the elves. They looked so cute, and did a great job.
For the past four years we have taken the kids to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square. We stay in a hotel, and do dinner and a Movie . The kids absoultely love it. Here they are chillin in the hotel bed watchin a movie.

Me and the kids at Temple square.

I love seeing the Christus statue. I was watching Avery look at the statue, and by the way that she was looking at it I had the thought " I know that Avery remembers him" It's amazing how much little babies and children are a lot closer the the Savior than we think.

Little Avery all bundled up.

My crazy kids. They always have to pull the crazy face. I think they inherited that from my sisters.

How do you know when you are doing to much laundry??
I'll tell ya.... It's when your one year old knows exactly what to do.I swear no joke she was pulling the clothes out of the washer and putting them into the dryer. So funny I had to take a picture.

Gingerbread man Where are you???

Here I am underneath the frosting. So the other night Landon was at the Jazz game and since it

was FHE night the kids and I decided that we should make Gingerbread men. My mom has been

planning a grandkid sleepover and movie day. She is going to take them to see the new movie

"The princess and the frog" My kids have been so excited for weeks. Thats all they can talk

about. So that's what they wanted their Gingerbread men to look like. The characters in the

movie. Baylee's is the frog, Rylee's is the princess, and Carson's is....well I'm not exactley sure.

Oh well we had lots of fun. I've decided that I don't really care for the taste of Gingerbread.

maybee it was my recipe but I'm not sure. I lover gingersnaps though.

I couldn't leave little Avery out. Speaking of Avery. She is the cutest thing ever.

What is she doing these days? Well I'll tell ya

Not walking (at almost 15 months She loves to stand and wants to take a few steps but maybee not.)

Still nursing.(Don't judge:)

Says Jesus(absolutley adorable)

Whispers "what's that" at just about everything

Is super happy in the morning.

Loves to snuggle with stuffed animals

Calls everyone Da Da except me and I'm of course MaMa

and loves I mean Loves her brother and Sister.

It's a totally different experience this time around. I mean when I had the twins it was me and
only me doing it all. Thanks goodness for Landon. But I was home alone every day with them I
had no help. But this time it's great I have so much help around the house. The kids love her so
much. They love to play with her, feed her, watch her, anything I ask they are right there. I'm so
lucky.

Carson has been taking Karate over the last few months. He loves it. He recently had his belt
promotion, and did great. He looks pretty serious with those moves.

Speaking of my son. He has said some funny things lately. I want to write them down so I don't
forget so here it goes.

Landons Dad shares season tickets to the Jazz games. So Landon gets to go fairly often during

the season. Well at the beginning of this season. Landon was able to take Carson to a game.

Carson absolutley loves going to the games. He has a D. Will jersey, and a ball signed by all the

players. I especially think that he loves going with Landon. Landon is a Jazz nut. He loves them.

So he;s able to tell carson so much, and really gets him excited. Well anyway Landon went to a

game the other night and went strait from work. The kids asked where He was when he didn't

come home from work and I told them he went to the Jazz game. Well Carson looked me strait in

the eye and said "mom why did he leave me?" Oh so sad. I had to explain that there wasn't an

extra ticket. When I told Landon he felt so bad. I hope that he will be able to take him again.

The second funny thing just happened this past week. I was at Gardner Village for our Young

Women activity. On the way home I called Landon to see how the kids were doing and he said

that Carson was feeling really sick like he was going to throw up. He was in the bathroom

hanging over the toilet, and Landon was in there talking to him. Carson asked if Jesus was there

watching over him, Landon said that yes he was and that Heavenly Father was probably there

too. Then the conversation went to Landons grandpa and my grandma who have died. Carson

was thinking that they were there too, not wanting him to be sick. Well in Carsons sickness he

looked at Landon and said "do you think the wisemen are watching me too?" Oh I love that little

guy.

My girls love littlest pet shops, and so does Carson. He always tries to find the most masculine

ones, and the other day he had a brilliant idea to dress them up as Super dog, and Batman

monkey. I know i'm brilliant thinking of a way to make costumes.. A little felt, and waalaa!

My mommy, me and Avery went to my sis's Rachels house the other week, and Little Emma
was in need of her hair being done. We got it all picked out, and such cute results followed.

I don't remember what I was doing, but obviousley not watching my baby. I heard her whining,
and this is what I found. OOPS!!My mom and sisters and sis-in-law went on our annual girls day outing. We even saw Santa at
Oh Sweet Sadi. We went Shopping Dinner, and ended it of with New Moon. What a splendid day.
Team Jacob. Need I say more?

My cute sisters.
And Baby Gabe.

Halloween... and stuff

My Funny baby. The story behing this is that we were eating lunch, I was multi-tasking, and I knew that she was playing with her sippie cup, but when I looked up, this is what I saw. She was soaking wet, playing in the water. So adorable. Halloween comments are below.
I love this guy!! He really took the role of retired wrestling hero seriousely.

I thought that Christmas was the only holiday that had me running with activities all the time. WRONG. Halloween was so crazy...but fun. We went to Gardner Village for the Witches of course. I hosted a dress-up Dinner party at my house with friends. SO FUN!! I loved decorating the tables, and the friends and games were a riot. There were 20 of us total, so you can imagine how fun. The kids went to a Halloween party, dressed up for dance class, Halloween parade, and finally trick-or-treating.I'm glad it's over. Now what. Oh ya more busy busy. Here is a peek of our fun.

Pictures of the last few months

This last sunday my side of the family all got together for another Sunday Dinner. I had to take this picture of Emma and Avery with my mom. Doesn't Emma look adorable? I love that Our girls are going to be best friends, it's fun to see them
kinda play with eachother. So adorable. We took the kids to the pumpkin patch. They had fun but we decided that we need to grow our own next year. I hate spending $$ on pumpkins of all things. Even thought they look cute on the front porch. I know I can grow them just as well. Right??

My Mom-in-law had a fun idea to get all the girls in the family together and go to dinner then the hale center play Little Shop of Horrors. We had so much fun and lots of laughs. I think that this is only the second play my girls have been to. They are still singing the songs, and want to go to another play soon. Maybee we'll attempt A Christmas Carol..
Baylee always pulls crazy facees like that. So Funny

Rylee and Madi

My Younger sister Angie had her first baby Gabriel. He is adorable!!! And so tiny. It makes me need another baby:)I guess for now I'll just have to visit.

My sweey Avery turned one in September. She is such a doll. Such a sweet funny baby. She weights 18 and a half pounds, so she is my little runt. She says mama, dada, this (with a lisp) it's so funny, and she can't just say it, she has to use her pointer finger to point at what she wants, and she loves to stick her finger up our nose holes. Not so fun for us. She loves her siblings, and always gets so excited when they come home from school. She was hilarious with her first Birthday cake. I didn't know what she would do, but I didn't expect this. I love you Avery!!!

Pure joy!!!

She slid right over her cake. I love that she made a mess.

We had a Reid party at our house to celebrate Avery's birthday. She has the cutest tounge.

Is she adorable or what!! It was so hot and Sunny that day, Hence the squinty eyes.

The older cousins on the "Sealing Day"

My sister Rachel, and her cute family had their sweet baby Emma Sealed to their family in the Ogden temple. It was such a great day. They all looked adorable. Especially Emma:)

Hope you liked the show.
Also one more food for thought. Am I the only one who is paranoid about the swine flu and other illness that are kids are probably going to be exposed to this fall and winter? It gives me anxiety thinking about it. Maybee I am overly cautious because in our family we have expierienced real life or death illness. When Ry and Bay were in the NICU when they were babies the Dr's didn't hesitate to scare the crap out of me and Landon when it came to handwashing, and having the babies not be around sick people. Then with my nephew Dallin and his heart transplant. All sickness is very serious for him too. He has been hospitalized numerous times with different types of sicknesses. It may seem weird that I have hand sanitizer in almost every room in my house, but i seriousley don't want my kids to get any weird strain of the flu.I know that colds are innevitable, but hopefully we'll all stay relitively healthy. DO I sound like a freak show:) am I over paranoid?

Random

It's 2:45 on a Monday afternoom, Avery is asleep the kids are on their way home from school, and I am watching Fashion Day on QVC. WHAT AM I DOING??? I always make fun of my mom for watching QVC. I never really buy anything, but it's addicting in some weird way. I love Fall, and for some weird reason QVC reminds me of when I lived at home before I was married. I love the crisp weather. ( I hate that word by the way)I love the smell of fall wall flowers and Candles that smell like cinnamon and cookies. I miss my childhood home around the fall. Thanks mom for the trip down memory lane.

ADORABLE

Could you just DIE!!! My friend Molly took these adorable pictures of Avery for her 1 year old birthday. Avery will be one next Sunday, and I am having a real hard time with it. It just feels like a couple months ago that she was born. The time has gone by so fast with her, and i'm going through serious new baby withdrawl. I just love being a mom, and am so glad to call Avery "all mine" :)

another update

Well if your reading this post then you have been one of the lucky invited to view the happenings of our little family YIPEE!! I have been so busy these past few months so blogging has taken a back seat. My little Avery keeps be very busy and wants my undivided attention always. The only time that I really get anything done is when she is sleeping. So I do the things that I NEED to do like Shower, Laundry, Dishes etc. I am so glad that Summer is here. We are on traditional school here so the summer is a good 3 months. We do have some fun plans over the next few weeks so if i get around to it there will be plenty to post about. The Girls finished there second grade year at school so their movin on up to the big third grade. Carson Will be starting kindergarten ion the fall, and my little Avery will be one year in September. Where has the time gone? Avery just got her first two teeth, and is just barely starting to sit up by herself. She's still a little wobbily, but doing good. Oh what else ...Oh yah we have a mouse infestation in our garage. SICK!!! I hate rodents!!! I've called the bug and rodent killer people to come out hopefully that works. Well here are a few pics of the things that have happened over the last little while.
I tried to take some pictures of Avery for her 6 month. She is so darn cute but I wish that I had really good Camera. (Hint Hint Landon)She was peeking over my shoulder laughing at Carson.
I love this one. When she wears blue it just makes her eyes sparkle even bluer.

Rylee took this one last week Before cousin Seans Baptism.

Could you just Die?!!! Avery loves to snuggle in Carsons hair. I think she loves the way that it feels buzzed. I got this picture when she was laughing. I am so glad that she has double dimples like Landon.

Yummy Yummy Baby food. Ave likes Fruit mostly. I know I'm bad I don't give her too many veggies. I thing their gross, but she doesn't mind them too much.

This was the Easter Egg hunt at my parents house. The kids had so much fun.( I took this lovely pic with my video camera. Really good quality)

My Sis Rachel, Hubby Jeff, and adorable Yummy I could eat you EMMA!! She is so cuddly and cute.

I lauged when I saw this Picture. We went to Copperton park with the Reids for Memorial Day. It was a good Chill Day at the park. The girls crack me up.

Avery was trying to kiss my adorable niece Brindy.

We took the kids to Tepanyaki for the girls B-Day. It ws really fun. Carson however kept insisting tht he didn't want to catch a shrimp in his mouth.

Carson Graduation from pre-school. His cute friend Isabelle from his class.

Baylee and Rylee turned eight in March and were Baptised. It was such a special day for them and me.They looked so beautiful all dressed in white. I remember when they were born and so tiny in the hospital. LAndon and I would say to eachother that we couldn't wait for the day that they would be baptised because then we knew that they would be out of the hospital and healthy wonderful girls. And look eight years later here we are.

Bay and Ry wanted to have a cousin party this year so i took them and their cousins Syd and Taylor to a salon and got Glitter toes. It was really fun. They totally got the royal treatment.

Avery came with us too. She's still my little appendage. We couldn't leave her out on our girls day.

I love this picture of the girls and their cousins Baylee, Sydnee(my sister Rachels daughter) Taylor ( Landons brother clints daughter, and my cousin Keri's daughter) and Rylee. Happy Birthday Girls. xoxo
