Vacation
I am feeling very anxious about leaving the kids to go to St. Thomas Virgin Islands on Thursday. It's not like Landon and I haven't gone on trips before and left the kids, but for the past two vacations that we went on they were as a family. I keep thinking what if someting happens to us? What will happen to the kids? Or what if something happens to the kids while we are away. Baylee has been sick for the past few days, and she keeps telling me that she doesn't want me to die. I tell her that that won't ever happen until she's really old, but she cries, and it makes me feel so sad. And even more nervous to leave. Landon earned this trip through work by meeting Quota and boy does he deserve it. I know when we get there it will be fun, but it's just hard to leave. We also have a family vacation in February planned to go to Cancun with Landons Family, so I better get used to traveling again:o)

Merry Christmas
We had a great Christmas. The parties and the visiting were the best. I always get a little down after Christmas, because all the months of preparation is over in one day. Bummer!!!Oh well new year, new opportunities. Hope you like the pics.
Christmas Decorating
I finally had a good place to display my Christmas Village that I have been collecting since we got married.
My "nice" Christmas tree.
Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. I love everything about it. When I was a kid Christmas time was MAGICAL!! Something that is hard to keep going when you grow up. I love the excitement that encompases my kids the whole month. I love the feeling that comes with giving, and the rememberance of Jesus Christs birth. But I also Love Christmas decorating. I was really excited to decorate this year because of the new house. Finding a place for everything was challenging and fun. Take a peek.
Family Fun Night
New Christmas Jammi's
Carson insisted on having his face covered by his black hat. He wanted to be the Black Spiderman.

So last year Landon and I started a tradition for our family. We decided that each year we would go up to Salt Lake and stay in a Hotel, and do fun Christmasey stuff. So this year we stayed at the Hilton Homewood Suites in Salt Lake, it's right by Gateway. We ate dinner at Iggy's (Landons Favorite because of the huge screens htat played the Jazz game.) Then we went to Temple Square and looked at the lights. It was really cold that night, so we went back to the Hotel, and opened presents which just happened to be new Christmas Jammi's. What a fun night. The next day we went to Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. Ummmm not so great. I felt frazzled when we left the theatre because the singing about pushed me over the edge. Next year we will have to do it again.

Santa at Smiths?

On Saturday I took the kids to Smiths with me to fill Carsons Rx. At the Checkout the cashier told me that Santa was over by the flowers. So I took the kids over to see him. It worked out good, because I haven't taken them to see him anywhere yet. When we got in the car the kids told me that they think that the Santa in the store was one of Santa's elves, because the real Santa was too busy making toys for Christmas. So he sends his elves to sit in his place. Genius. Santa at Smiths who would have thought.
What Glare?

I had to post this picture, because of the story behind it. On Friday night after the Concert we went to eat at a sushi resteraunt in Salt Lake. There was a spotlight shining down on Landons head that we had been joking about during dinner. It looked like he was being interrogated. We wanted a picture together, so Carter held up a napkin infront of the light to block the glare off his head. What a cutie Pie:o)
What sweeter music
What a Hottie!!!
Angie and Dallas
What a fun night!!!! I have wanted to go to the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert for a while now.The King Singers were going to be the Guest Musicians, and I have loved their music since my choir days in High School. So when I heard that tickets for this year were going to be raffled, I entered Every person in my family. And Yay we got a few tickets. So we went with my sister Angie and her husband Dallas, and our good friends Sandra and Carter. Before the concert started I noticed a boy sitting in front of us who didn't look like he felt very good, but I didn't think too much of it, until I was in conversation with Angie, and I looked up and saw that the boy was THROWING UP!!!! AAAHHHH! The girl that he was with grabbed a hat or scarf or something to catch the barf but he just wasn't stopping. So she walked him out. It wasn't until a few minutes later that we went to the bathroom, and noticed a trail of throwup down the isle, and all the way up the stairs to the bathroom. It was gross, but I felt bad for him and the volunteers who had to clean up the mess. The concert was wonderful. I love the way that music has a way of making me feel at peace. I love Christmas songs. President Hinckley was there , and they were filming it that night to be shown on PBS later.
The kids were sleeping over at my parents house, and after the concert we called them to see how the kids were doing. My mom said that Carson wanted to come home. He wanted his mommy. So after dinner we picked him up, and took him home, while the girls stayed. He was up a lot that night coughing and barking. On Saturday morning we took him the the Doctor, and were told that he had croup. I havent had croup since I had babies in the house, and that was a while ago. Thank goodness for Steroids. He is feeling a lot better now. Overall what a fun night.

Frosty the Snowman
"THE JUMP"

The Fam and Frosty
Last Saturday we woke up to no snow at our house. We were dissapointed because the News reported that it was going to be a huge storm. Later that morning I talked to my mom, and she said that they had about 9 inches and it was still snowing. So we got all the snow gear together, and off we went to Grandma's house. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't really played in the snow since High School. The kids were really excited to go sledding. There was a jump that was made, and all the kids were going off it. There was a lady about my age next to us with her kids, and after Rylee went off the jump she looked at us and said "you guys are asking for a trip to the Hospital today hugh?" WHATEVER!!! I was so bugged, it was like she questioning our parent skills. So what did we do? We kept going off the jump. HAHA. After the sledding Carson insisted that we build a huge Frosty. The funny part was that after it was all built Carson said that we needed to all hold hands and sing around the Snowman like they do on the movie. What a sight:o) So overall it was a really fun day. I'm glad that we did that as a family.

Black Friday

Thanksgiving was great. We had Dinner at my parents house, and then went to Landon's for pie. I slept over at my moms house with my sisters and sister in law so that we could go shopping on Friday. We woke up at 4:00 a.m. and were at Old Navy by 4:30. We thought that was early but aparently not early enough. We went to a few stores that day, and made a good dent in the shopping. I love to go shopping with the girls not so much for the goos deals but for that talking. So much Fun.

High School Musical

My kids love High School Musical, so when I found out that High School Musical on Ice was coming I had to get tickets. We went this past Friday, and had a blast. I was wondering what Landon would think, and he liked it. Carson liked it too. Baylee was singing to the songs the whole time and the girls infront of her kept on looking back. Funny. Rylee is a little more reserved so she just watched it. My kids don't go to shows like that very often so when everyone cheers and yells they look at me like they don't know what they should do. We're taking them to the Nutcracker on Christmas Eve, so that should be fun.
Beautiful

Ok so we moved into our new house in Saratoga Springs this past June, and I love it. I was picking my kids up at the bus stop this week, and was thinking about what a beautiful day it was. So I took a picture. This is what I see every day out my back windows. I love living here.

Happy Halloween
Is it bad for me to say that I'm glad that Halloween is over? I love what leads up to Halloween but the day is absolutely CRAZY!!! Don't ask me why but this year I volunteered to be the room mom for Bay and Ry's class. I had no idea what the room mom did, but I soon found out that part of the job was organizing all the class parties. So I spent a buzy day at the Elementary parade and class party, then I went to Carson's pre-school and watched his parade ( so cute!) We all went trick or treating at our parents' house, and ended the night at a party at the our friends The Pecks house. Overall what a fun day.

Pumpkin Carving Fun

I love pumpkin carving. WHY? Because I love to eat the seeds. Ever since I was a kid my Dad would always cook the pumpkin seeds. They were so good, so every year since, I've been cookin them myself. I was solo this year for the Pumpkin carving because Landon was out of town for work. My pumpkins are pretty boring compared to his, but It is always fun to do it with the kids. Rylee doesn't like to stick her hands in the goo, so she used a spoon this year. Carson and Baylee dug right in FUN! FUN! FUN!
Grandma Burr
Baylee, Rylee and Cousin Sydnee.(So sweet.) The boys look like nothing but trouble.

Last Tuesday my family headed down to Antimony for my Grandma's funeral. (Where the heck is Antimony exactly?) It is in Southern Utah about 45 Minutes North of Bryce Canyon. I haven't been to too many funerals in my life thank goodness, but although the funeral was so sad, it was such a wondeful tribute to a wonderful woman. Grandma's viewing was in Richfield the night before, and the funeral was the next day. I was really worried about how the kids were going to act. But they did really good. The girls wanted to touch her hand, but after a while they got so comfortable with that they started to play with the white "hanky" that she was holding. We had to speak up and tell them that only looking from now on. Carson brought his action guys and was playing with them all night with his cousins. It was hard to really get emotional when I was having to watch the kids all night. So the next day at the funeral the Relief Society stepped in and watched all the kids during the funeral. ( What a blessing.) My Grandma and Grandpa had such a wonderful marriage. It was hard to see my Grandpa so sad. He just looked lost without her. There were a few times that he just broke down sobbing over her. SO SAD!!! Grandma was buried in the Antimony cemetary over looking the valley that my Grandpa owned a long time ago. So overall it was a really good trip down.

THRILLER

My sweet mother in law called a few weeks ago and told me that we were going to have a girls day. YAY!!! She bought tickets to Odyssey Dance Company's THRILLER. We had so much fun. It was my mother in law my 3 sister in laws and my 2 nieces. We ate at Macaroni Grill and then went to Kingsbury Hall for the concert. If you know me well you will know that I do not dance. I still remember the last dance performance that I did. I was about 12 or 13 years old. I was wearing hot pink spandex(which says enough right there) with black and white checkers down the side, and hot pink gloves. After I watched the video that my parents took I QUIT! And decided to follow my passion of singing. My Sister in law Keri and I were talking at the performance about how we wish that we could dance. Sometimes I hear a song that just makes me want to throw my body around in some cool dance, but then I remember that that would not be a good idea. I was a little surprised at how HALLOWEENY it was. it was a little violent at times, but I loved it. And the dancers were so great. I can't wait to go back next year.

We'll miss you Grandma

Today is a sad day for my Family. My Grandma Burr passed away this morning. She has been sick for a while, so we all knew this was coming but it's always hard when it really happens. My Grandma was the best. I have so many fun memories with her in them. I am really glad that I was able to go visit her in Antimony a couple of times over the last month. I'm worried about my Grandpa being all alone now. They were eachothers sweethearts, and I know that he will be terribly lonely without her. I like to think of the happy times with her. Here is a sweet picture from a couple years back. I Love You Grandma.
Toothless Beauty

Rylee was playing with an elastic the other day, and flipped it up on her loose tooth. The next thing I know she is running upstairs with blood in her mouth saying that her tooth is ready to fall out. Blood and everyting she pulled it out!!! Yay Rylee that's #5. You look so cute. Don't feel to bad Baylee you are next.

OBSESSED
Ok I know I'm a little slow, but I didn't even know that a book called Twilight existed until a few weeks ago. I heard about it from a friend and my Sister within a day of eachother. Needless to say I have read Twilight and New Moon and am half way through Eclipse. I LOVE IT.. In my mind I know what Edward and Jacob look like but I can't wait till the movie comes out in a few years to see the story played out on the screen. If I don't post for a few days you all know why.
Pumpkins and Witches

It's that time of year again. We took the kids to a Pumpkin Patch the other night and let them pick out their own pumpkins. They had fun Running around the patch and picking just the right one.
My Mom used to work at Gardner Village and so every year we would take the kids to see the Witches. I love the candy shop and the Carmel Apples are the BEST!!!!! We took the kids a couple of days ago and had a ball.
So Cute

Yesterday was Sunday and the kids wore their new outfits. I love the Fall because I get to shop for new things. I know that I am biased but aren't they so cute? It's fun sometimes to dress the girls alike. I used to do it when they were babies but now they have their own style and hardly ever dress alike. Funny how twins could have such different personalities. And Carson is my little boyfriend I swear I could just eat him up.
San Diego or Bust

We recently got back from SanDiego California. We stayed on Mission Beach in a beach house. It was so fun. We went with my whole family. We all enjoyed Sea World and Lego Land. Lego Land however isn't as fun for the adults as it is for the kids, but we all had fun. I loved the Beach and was entertained by the kids the whole time. (DON'T DROWN) was yelled a few times. Vacations like that are fun to take with the whole family you really get to spend some good quality time. I can't wait until February when we will be going to Cancun with Landons family. Here's some pics.

O the memories
This was me and Landon last year at Halloween I don't usually dress up but we went to a party. It was fun. Landon is SO HOT!!!!!
Well thanks to my friend Sandra I decided to start a blog page. Mostly for me so that I can document the fun things in my life. This is where we were One year ago around this time. DISNEYLAND!!!! It was so fun to see everything all decked out for Halloween. I can't wait to take the kids back especially when Carson is older and can ride almost everything.
