Baby Emma

This is the most exciting news that has happened for a few months in our Family. My older sister Rachel and Jeff just adopted this beautiful baby girl Emma Mae Williams. Shortly after mys sis and her husband lost their baby Isaac they just had the feeling that they needed to adopt. So a few months ago they put their papers in with an adoption agency in Utah. They specified that they wanted a baby boy. So they have been waiting for the call. Their profile had been presented to a couple of families but no luck. So last week the agency called and told them that they had a mom flying in and she was delivering the next day. The catch was that it was a little girl. Rachel was so stunned and excited that after talking it over with her Husband and praying about they just knew that she was ment to be in their family. So they said yes. Due to some tragic things that have happened to the birth mom recently she wanted it to be a closed adoption. So lucky for Rachel and Jeff. Emma was born on January 7th. 6lbs. 11 oz. 19 inches long. This especially makes me excited for my own selfish reasons, because now Avery will have best friend cousin just her age. What a comforting feeling that our Heavenly Father is so aware of us, and knows what we need. It's cool to think that he prepares the way for miracles to happen. And this is definatley a miracle.
